Obviously me being upset and feeling incredibly disrespected we had a verbal altercation, words were exchanged but let me be clear.0 were threatening. Not only this, while I'm in my same exact seat at the end of the bar the bartender comes up to me from around the bar and tells me to sign the receipt and get out because I was "annoying" her. What ever happened to basic customer service etiquette "the customer is always right?" They obviously missed the memo. At this point I'm in total shock because as a paying customer who had been to this establishment and many others in my lifetime I have never heard of such a thing. The logical next step is to call the manager over, she calls this guy over who never tells me his name.he just identifies himself as the manager and basically reiterated what the bartender said.I shouldn't have drank the drink and not his problem. I called the bartender over and disputed the charge (like any normal person would) and she basically said it's not her problem because no one told me to drink the erroneous drink (even though she said it was OK for me to do so). The bartender then blames the original bartender (who took my order) for giving her the wrong order and since she was going to throw out the drink anyway.I asked her if she could leave the drink with me and bring me back what I asked her, she said "ok, no problem." Afterwards, the bartender comes back with the three shots I originally asked for and I stayed for about another hour before I decided it was time to go, at that point I asked for the bill and when I got it I noticed I was charged $14 for the drink that was given to me in error. I asked for three lemon drop shots from one bartender and another bartender comes back a few minutes later with a single drink in a martini glass, essentially she combined all three shots in one drink.not what I ordered.

There isn't enough ambiance to get me to return back for a night.Over the summer, I had the misfortune of going to Tropix Bar & Lounge for drinks after a Colombia Copa America game. It felt real tropical with the high powered fan on. There were fake plants, bamboo walls and a AC with not enough freon to coincide with the "tropical" theme. The seating was good however…there were not enough tables or enough of anything. The lounge portion needed updated light fixtures and ambiance is lacking here. Enough to get the dance floor…that doesn't exist… poppin. Played a great mix of Reggae, Salsa,Reggaeton, Hip Hop and classics. Variations of flavors were ordered by the pound.

Wing platters were ordered in which everyone seemed to enjoy.

I've never paid that for a Gin Mule in Manhattan. I guess our party size was unmanageable and it took about a hour to get 1 drink priced at $14.50. Appearing and reappearing throughout the duration of the party. We ordered drinks from bartenders who seemed to work like magicians. The 1st thing that came to mind is that this place is in need of a renovation. The bouncers greeted us and were professional. I will preface this by saying if youre looking to watch the game or if you need after work beers, Hookah and wings, come here. My cousin hosted her 50th birthday in the upstairs "lounge" section of the venue on Good Friday.
